Advisory issued for Yatris, tourists in Pahalgam, Sonamarg

Srinagar, Jul 01 : Authorities in Pahalgam have issued advisory for hotels, restaurants and guest houses within the jurisdiction of police station Pahalgam.

As per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the advisory issued by Station House Officer of Police Station Pahalgam said that all vehicles leading from Pahalgam to Srinagar shall cross AL-stop by 4 pm and shall leave from Pahalgam by 1400 hrs.

“Yatries shall proceed from Pahalgam towards Chandenwari between 0500 am to 08 am and hoteliers/guest house owners/ restaurant owners shall advise tourists/customers staying in Pahalgam and desiring to proceed towards Srinagar/Jammu shall cross Langanbal bridge Pahalgam before 0200 p.m besides that the tourists desiring to visit Aru valley shall be advised that they shall close their program in Aru before 1200 pm and return back by 0100 pm,” it said.

Betab Valley will be closed for tourists by 1230 Pm every day and all Hoteliers are directed to check out their Guests/Tourists by or before 1:30 pm, it added.

Meanwhile Police Station Sonamarg has issued an advisory regarding cut off timing from Sonamarg to Srinagar.

For tourist vehicles to cross Shutkadi bridge/ PS Sonamarg/truck yard towards Srinagar, 1500 hours will be cut off time besides that for yatra vehicles to cross PS Sonamarg/Shutkadi Bridge towards Srinagar 1000 hours will be cut off time.

Furthermore, for yatra vehicles to cross Baltal/Y-Junction/Nilgrath, 0900 hours will be cut off time, it added—(KNO)
