Innocent killings in Kashmir un-Islamic, cowardly, barbaric act: JMF

Jammu, Jun 02 : Jammu Muslim Front (JMF) on Thursday condemned the targeted killings of all innocent people, who are serving Kashmiri society in various mean.

In a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the leaders of JMF termed the recent killing of an innocent banker and teacher as barbaric. “It’s nothing but an act of frustration and has let down the head of Kashmiriyat in shame,” the statement said.

In the condolence meeting, Zaffar Ahmad expressed his displeasure over the silence of NGO, members of civil society and intellect class.

“The perpetrators of such crimes whose aim is to destroy the peace in the state and harm communal harmony culture should be identified. Enough lives have been lost and too much innocent blood has splattered on streets. This madness should be stopped as such acts are unacceptable. We all must stand in one row and put a brave front against the enemy of humanity and denounce such crimes against innocent civilians, who are serving Kashmiri society,” Zaffar said.

Qazi Imran, President of JMF, Tanveer Wani Vice President, Muhammad Sadiq General Secretary and Executive body of the JMF conveyed heartfelt condolences to the family of deceased and prayed for peace to the departed soul.

JFM leadership hoped that the administration would own the moral responsibility of failure and take up immediate action in identifying the culprit behind these senseless killings and bring perpetrators to justice.

Furthermore, the leadership of the front appealed to masses to hold firmly the flag of communal harmony so as to defeat the nefarious design of enemy—(KNO)
