Sh Raj Pal Singh, Addl SP Traffic City Jammu says, “Traffic policemen have to stand in the heat to regulate/monitor the traffic, they have been advised to stand in the shade, wherever and whenever possible, to avoid heatstroke.”

“At some chowks/junctions, Traffic cops have to spend almost the entire time on the roads For example, at Indira chowk, Satwari, Bikram Chowk, Dogra Chowk, Vigilance rotary, Janipur, Ambphalla etc, where traffic comes from different directions, if Cops are not regulating traffic, it may lead to heavy congestion/jamming/accidents, etc” said Dr Koshal Sharma JKPS, SSP traffic police city Jammu.
