Jammu, May 20 : One person was killed and three others injured when a private vehicle they were travelling met with an accident in Assar area of Doda district on Friday.
They said that the driver of the private vehicle—Swift (JK06-9064) apparently lost control over it near Assar, leading to the on the spot death of one Rattan Singh son of Suneet Singh of Thalsara (Bhalla) and injuries to three other persons –Ranjeet Singh son of Bharat Singh, Jagjeet Singh son of Diwan Singh and Balbir Singh son of Maan Singh, also residents of Thalsara (Bhalla). The injured were shifted to hospital by locals and police later, they said.
A police officer confirmed it to GNS and said that a case has been registered. (GNS)
