Anantnag, May 14 : An 8-year-old girl died after drowning in a river near her house at Chanigam area of Ashmuqam in South Kashmir’s Anantnag on Saturday evening, an official said.
An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a girl identified as Aasia Fayaz (8) daughter of Fayaz Ahmad Shah, a resident of Chanigam Ashmuqam slipped and drowned into a river Martan Canal.
Soon after the incident, the family and neighbors immediately shifted her to SDH Seer where doctors declared her brought dead—(KNO)
