Pattan, Apr 25 : A Sarpanch was killed while several others were injured after a bus they were travelling in met with an accident at Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.
Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a SRTC bus carrying Sarpanchs was en-route to Baramulla. The driver, however, lost his control over the vehicle and the bus turned turtle in Pattan area.
In the incident, one Sarpanch identified as Fayaz Ahmad was killed on the spot while several others were injured.
The locals rushed to the spot and rescued the injured people. Meanwhile, police has also reached the spot—(KNO)
