Srinagar, Mar 12 : A road stretch that connects Srinagar with Pampore via Frestbal is in shambles and the irony is that half of road that falls in Pamore area of Pulwama district is fully macadamised while the portion that lies in Srinagar district stands ignored badly.

The condition of the road, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) is such that one finds it difficult to walk let alone driving on it.

People on Saturday staged protest and demanded that thw road be repaired as it leads to various schools and above all the nearest SDH Pampore.

The locals that includes Mohalla president Muhammad Ismail Rather, Haji Bashir Ahmed Mir and numberdar Haji Abdul Gaffar Rather urged the district administration including DC Srinagar, SMC Mayor and R&B Department to repair the road on priority to mitigate the sufferings of common masses—(KNO)
