Qazigund, Feb 27 : The 278-km-long Jammu-Srinagar highway was reopened for traffic on Sunday after remaining closed for few hours due to landslides, triggered by rains.
A traffic police official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that vehicles stranded due to massive landslide at Magarkote area of Ramban were allowed to proceed towards their destinations.
“Jammu-Srinagar national highway has been reopened for one way traffic and stranded vehicles are being cleared,” he said.
