Tourist family thanks DC Srinagar for helping them out in difficult situation

Srinagar, Feb 06 : A tourist family has thanked Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad for providing timely help to them while in distress.

A resident from another State Shwet Savla few days ago took to Twitter and post a message on Twitter handle of Deputy Commissioner Srinagar with request for an urgent help.

The message reads as “My brother in law was holidaying in Gulmarg and went very sick yesterday with oxygen falling down to 30. Has been rushed to SMHS hospital in the morning. My sister and her 5 year old boy are alone in Srinagar. Patient name Sahil Sarang”.

Soon after reading the help message, the DC replied the messenger and asked to post attendants contact number.

After establishing the contact with the attendants of the patient, the DC Srinagar made all possible healthcare facilities available to the patient at the hospital due to which patient got well.

As the patient was discharged, his family expressed their gratitude to the DC Srinagar for his compassionate approach and act of kindness and humanity.

Shwet Savla also took to Twitter of DC Srinagar and post a complimentary message, which reads as, “I just can’t thank you enough for looking into the matter. Hope we have more officers like you everywhere”—(KNO)
