CRPF Trooper Injured Critically After Hit By Alto Car in Pulwama

Srinagar, Dec 19 : A CRPF trooper, part of a road opening party, sustained critical injuries after allegedly hit by an Alto car in Kadalbal Awantipora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district this morning.

An official told GNS that one CRPF constable Shrawan Kumar of 130 Batallion was performing duty at highway as road opening party, when hit by an Alto car bearing registration number JK22 5839.

The constable, they said, was shifted to to Primary Health Centre Awantipora for treatment from where the doctors referred him to Srinagar for preferential treatment.

Meanwhile a police official confirming the incident told GNS that a cognizance into the incident has been taken. (GNS)
